Why is monitoring so important?

Your monitoring service is vitally important. It ensures that your home receives the maximum amount of protection possible. A security system that is not connected to monitoring services is nothing more then an expensive noisemaker, such as a regular smoke detector in your home. The system would not be able to contact our central station and notify the authorities in case of a burglary or a fire.

Our monitoring stations and our equipment are UL certified and provide the highest service levels available. It takes our central station less than one minute to respond over the phone or security system when an alarm is triggered.

Titan Alarm has recently upgraded its monitoring centers from Counterforce USA to Monitronics International and API. All of our central stations are UL listed and provide extremely high quality of service to our customers. It is imporant that you know which station you are monitored by so you can properly cancel a false alarm, and keep you alarm permit information up-to-date. If you need to cancel a false alarm you may call 1-800-973-9001 and select option 1. From there it will ask you to select your central station and you will be forwarded accordingly.
